Something to keep in mind about working at home for a company is that you're still working for someone else. It's still a job. You have to follow somebody else's rules and work on their terms. Things can change on a whim. Hours, salary, and benefits can be suddenly cut back, then one's financial future is left hanging.
You have to decide what is best for you and your family. In this economy, it's a blessing to have steady income and a job. I'm glad we have freedom to choose.
